Built in 2012 through a public-private partnership between Portland Parks & Recreation and the Goldberg family, this was the city's first universally accessible playground and the flagship project of the Harper's Playground nonprofit. A sand-and-water play area with pumpable water and sensory sculpture elements anchors the barrier-free design.
