Reopened in 2019 after a full overhaul with new climbing equipment, safety surfacing and landscaping, this is the marquee playground of Olmsted Jr.-designed Fort Tryon Park near the Cloisters. Spray showers cool kids off in summer, and the park's Hudson River overlooks and Heather Garden are steps away.
